The Venues

Rouen City Hall
Civil ceremony

Rouen’s city hall has been located since 1800 in the former monks’ dormitory perpendicular to the Saint-Ouen abbey, one of the finest examples of radiant Gothic style in France. The abbey has a perfectly preserved medieval oak frame, considered the last great “forest” in France since the fire of Notre-Dame de Paris in 2019.

It is located at Place du Général de Gaulle and is accessible from Rouen-Rive Droite station by public transport (Astuce network, bus F2 or F7, free on Saturdays, validation required, SMS ticket: send V1 to 93000 before boarding the bus) or on foot (850m, 12 minutes). Paid parking is located under the square (Parking de l’Hôtel de Ville). A second underground car park is located 500m away (6 minutes on foot, Parking Q-Park Palais de Justice Museum of Fine Arts). Parking in the surrounding streets is chargeable (payment at terminals or EasyPark application).

Château de Mesnières-en-Bray
Cocktail, dinner and evening

The castle of Mesnières-en-Bray, dating from the first half of the 16th century, is considered the most important Renaissance building in Upper Normandy, and resembles the Loire castles. It currently houses the Institut Saint Joseph high school that offers training from 6th grade to professional bachelors in the fields of forestry, horticulture, hotel and catering, entertainment, health and community services. It was largely renovated following a fire in 2004, which destroyed three-quarters of the roof as well as the two chapels from the 16th and the 19th century.

It is located 40 minutes by car from Rouen City Hall. Access to the car park is via the Dieppe road (Route de Dieppe), behind the castle

If you do not have a vehicle, contact us, we will find you a spot in a car!
